Řídicí struktury

Sekce controlFlow rozhoduje o řídicích strukturách: elseif jedním slovem, else po větvi, která vždy odejde, if vracející true a false, časný návrat místo if na konci funkce, komentář u propadnutí case a příkaz global.

Tři rozhodnutí zplošťují kód. elseAfterExit a elseifAfterExit odstraní else a elseif, před kterými každá větev odejde přes return, throw, break nebo continue; trailingIf otočí if, který obaluje konec funkce nebo cyklu, na časný návrat, od tolika příkazů v těle, kolik říká parametr trailingIfMinStatements. Odsazení řádků, které tím vystoupí o úroveň, srovná sekce indentation, proto ji ukázka nastavuje taky:

An if ending a function or a loop body becomes a guard that leaves early, and an else that leaves becomes the first branch.
